Trek to Nepal
October 12 to 22 2019
Operation Namaste is heading back to Nepal.... and we would like you to join us.
As part of our continuing support of O&P care in Nepal, we are taking another trip in October of 2019. We are opening this trip up to all professionals and volunteers in the O&P field.
The trip will be an exploratory service trip. We will spend some of our time visiting and assisting Nepalese O&P Clinics, while most of our time will be touring this amazing country.
Tour popular sites in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and more
Visit Nepalese prosthetic clinics and connect with your colleagues from across the world
Trek with our local guides through the foothills of the Himalayas with breathtaking views and historic cultural destination.

Day 6: Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath. This trek features a climb up to Muktinath, which is one of the most sacred sites for Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus worship Muktinath as an incarnation of Lord Bishnu and believe that bathing in the holy taps here brings salvation after death. For Buddhists, it is a site where sage guru Rinpoche meditated. There is a fete here during Janai Purnima when hundreds of devotees visit every year.
Day 7: Trek from Muktinath back to Jomson. The third and final day of trekking will feature a hike from Muktinath to Jomson on the Lubra Valley hillside route with panoramic views of the Nilgiri Himal and other Himalayas peaks along the way.
