Danika Viola, MSOTR/L
Danika Viola is an occupational therapist and below the knee amputee who has an infinite amount of love and passion for travel, new experiences, the outdoors, and working with people with limb differences. She currently works with the pediatric population, and is involved with several non-profit organizations benefitting those with limb differences, including the Athletes with Disabilities Network and Camp No Limits.
Danika first went to Nepal in 2016 and fell in love with the people, culture, and the outdoors of the country, and she’s excited to be able to go back and help the Nepali population become educated and empowered in relation to the rehabilitative side of prosthetic care, as well as to run a camp for kids with limb differences in Nepal. When she’s not trekking through the Himalayas, visiting her family in Europe, or working, you can find Danika at home near Philadelphia with her husband Alex and 2 dogs.
